The brand was started in the 1920’s under the name of The American Furniture Company but by the 1950’s it had changed its name to American of Martinsville & very soon gained a reputation for exquisite craftsmanship. It wasn’t difficult to spot the companies sturdy, solid designs & has long earned the admiration of mid-century modernism enthusiasts. This beautiful cabinet with brass pulls & mirrored top would look fabulous in a bathroom or bedroom as well as a living or dining room.
The sideboard has an internal soft pull drawer & shelving to both sections it comes in very good condition with only a few small marks expected of its age
