Traditionally these vintage tribal shields from the Bamiléké tribe were used as a defensive weapon & as decorative or ritual objects which symbolise status & wealth in Cameroon.
Hand carved from one pice of wood & decorated by large groups of tribes people they consist of all the elements I love, wood, age, african, monochrome, pattern & culture.
Grouped together they would look stunning as a wall display in a commercial or residential space of a certain size
